Description
It's been a while since I drew something that I just really wanted to draw. It so happened that what I really wanted to draw was a lioness in armor holding a stupidly large sword behind her. (It's the image I've had in my head for an RPG character; haven't decided on her name yet)
If you haven't done art for yourself in a long while I would suggest that you do, because--at least I think so--the art you do for yourself invariably comes out better, and everyone needs that confidence boost now and then!

I'm an avid follower of Housepets, and also an avid player of D&D(Pathfinder RPG to be specific) and I've got to say, this particular piece harbors so much food for thought for me; having created a campaign setting with an anthropomorphic influence, this is the type of style I could only wish to bring to life for my world.
