Ryuko are very tall draconic saurians, standing 9 to 11 feet in height with raptor-like features and brilliantly shining metallic hides. Descended from the remnants of a fractured god, every ryuko carries the spark of divine power within him and is as much spirit as mortal, though he will still age and die with time. Passionate and hot-blooded, ryuko feel and do nothing by half-measure, and are given to grand works and huge monuments. Ryuko are the most politically powerful of the common races, deferring only to the dragons who sit at the top of the Virian heirarchy, and very nearly every structure in the known world is built to accomodate their size first and the so-called "lesser" races second.
