This novel is based on my short story “Ten Thousand Miles Up” (www.smashwords.com/books/view/…)—a couple details were changed (lifespans and dress code, mainly) but I am totally on board with this. It does seriously help flesh out a setting, and I always need more of that.
The designs of the geroo (drawn by Kyoht www.furaffinity.net/view/14299…) were not precisely how I’d originally envisioned them, but again, I like the direction it took. It’s different compared to how I normally do anthro designs.
