My scanner is, at best, serviceable, so this was taken with my camera, which only fares marginally better. What I'm saying is, the original is much more vivid without light blotching, and I cannot justify the cost of a really good true-color scanner.
In any case, this is the first really good traditional media piece I've done. I'd really like to FIND a place where I can scan it closer to its true colors but I honestly don't think I can find a local place, in which case, I'd like to try putting this in a convention art show sometime.
I screwed up on the sky like I knew I would (I need to invest in some watercolors) so part of it is redone with oil paint. Most of the picture was made using prismacolor markers and color pencils, as well as copic multiliners for the inks plus some other inking brushes I have.
NO LEG HIKING. NO SHEDDING. NO NUDITY. This made me laugh. The picture is great, I love all of the expressions. xD I also like the little cat guy with the goggles over to the right. Innocent bystander. xD
Worse than that ever happened to me, it really is an embarrassing situation!! And on top was on a crowded beach, I was about 9 years! I had to go home pulling his shirt trying to hide!! There are things in life that can only laugh at!! Fine art friend!! I hope I have said something wrong!!!!!! I love your drawing style!!
Funny!
